Delivery Information for Hospitals, Businesses and Universities

When delivering to businesses, hospitals or universities, we may not be able to deliver the flowers directly to the recipient and such circumstances are beyond our control. In such cases we will deliver to the reception desk or post room and obtain a signature. This signature will be our record of delivery.

Please provide as much information regarding the location of the recipient as possible within the delivery instructions, including department name, floor number, room number etc.

University Deliveries

Because of large university campuses it is frequently difficult to locate people. As such we will deliver to the university post room or main reception desk and will obtain a signature that will be our record of delivery. Make sure that sufficient information for the university staff to be able to locate the intended recipient has been provided.

We will not be held responsible for failed delivery of orders addressed to recipients at universities as we have no control of the delivery once it has been accepted for delivery by the university staff.

Hospital Deliveries

Deliveries to hospitals are particularly problematic because patients move around or are discharged. This means that we are occasionally unable to deliver such orders.

Many of these issues can be avoided by ensuring that we have accurate and current information about the exact location of the recipient.

It is essential that the full name of the recipient is provided because there can be several patients with the same name and this can lead to delivery issues beyond our control.

It is also important to check that the hospital or ward accepts cut flowers. If they do not we will not be held responsible for resulting delivery failiures.

We will not be held responsible for a delivery faliure to a Hospital when the recipient cannot be located or has been discharged.

Business Deliveries

Because our standard delivery time is 8am to 6pm we recommend a timed delivery slop be chosen to ensure delivery during office hours.

If we deliver to a business address during our standard delivery time and delivery is not possible because the business is closed we will not be held responsible for the failed delivery.
